Clifford A. "Cliff" Mumby, age 82, a 4-year resident of Bullhead City, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Legacy Rehab & Care Center in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Cliff was born in Flint, Mich., on July 19, 1928, the son of Thomas and Cora Mumby. Cliff was a graduate of Flint Central High School, and he loved to dance since high school days!
He married Barbara Scott on April 7, 1951.
Cliff was an ironworker who loved building bridges. He worked on the Mackinaw, the Narrows Bridge in New York City, and a bridge in Argentina.
After spending several winters in Bullhead City over the years, in 2007, Cliff and Barbara moved permanently from Flint, to Bullhead City, Ariz.
Cliff will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; three daughters, Linda Brandel, Christie Comeau and Pamela Siminski; three sons-in-law, Edward Brandel, Marcel Comeau and Tom Siminski; three sisters, Barbara Aires, Joan Skowronski, and Alice Dickenson; brother, Boyd Dickenson; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends.
A private memorial will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011, with family attending.
