BICE, Iva

Iva Bice passed away January 7, 2004 at age of 99 years. 

She had four children and is survived by her son Robert of Phoenix - 5 grandchildren - 5 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were James - Shirley - Eugene and her husband Roy to who she was married for 51 years. 

Iva was born at Wasjta Iowa on March 28, 1904 and attended school at Grand Meadow Iowa - she married Roy Bice in January 1924 and they farmed in Iowa until relocating to Laurel Montana in 1936 where Roy and his brother ran a trucking business. Roy and Iva returned to farming in Larrabee Iowa in 1942 where they remained until moving to Phoenix Arizona in 1961. 

Iva attended church at Bethel United Methodist and resided in a group home until her death. 

Funeral was Monday, January 12, 2004, at Northwest Mortuary Chapel at 4033 North 19th Ave. She will be interred with her husband Roy at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Mausoleum.
