BROMMER,
Jere J.
8 September 1929 - 8 January 2004
Jere J. Brommer, Follower of Christ, Minister, Teacher, Mentor, Husband, Loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Best Friend.
Jere, a resident of Phoenix for 47 years, was a banker prior to his retirement from Valley National Bank as an executive vice-president 10 years ago. Throughout his entire life Jere sought to serve the Lord and others through his involvement in Christian ministries. He served in many capacities using all of his gifts to spread the word of the Lord and to bring people to Christ. He is known and loved by many throughout the Valley and will be missed by all who knew him.
"When through one man a little more love and goodness, a little more light and truth come into the world - then that man's life has had meaning".
Jere was preceded in death by his first wife Mary and mother of his children. He is survived by his wife Marie, six children, sons Jeff, Michael and Eric, daughters Suzan Kieborz, Sharon Brommer and Lisa Neitz and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jere's passing was sudden and unexpected; our hearts are heavy and filled with sorrow, and we miss him so very much. Our peace and solace comes from knowing that Jere is with the Lord our Saviour for eternity. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
A celebration of Jere's life will begin on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 with visitation at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel W. 710 Bethany Home Road, Phoenix. The celebration will continue on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at The Cathedral Christian Center, 16635 N. 51st Avenue, Glendale.
