Esther was born on Aug. 28, 1929, to Joseph and Jennie (Dasaro) Bergamo in Detroit, Mich. She was a 1947 graduate of Eastern High School. Esther was an author, artist, musician, as well as a Safari Coordinator in Kenya. Esther loved art and considered herself a student of life. She also enjoyed philosophy, traveling and reading.
