KONECKI, Donald Joseph

Donald Joseph Konecki, 72. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on Feb. 27, 1931. He left this life Jan. 8, 2004. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with twenty years of service, having served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He was also a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service. He was a loving and generous father, devoted to his wife Ruth, who preceded him in death in 1996. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Konecki, Theresa Bulls and Mary Morris. Two sons, David and Matthew. Three brothers, Ralph, Clarence and Ronald. Eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Parish, 3220 W. Greenway Rd, Phx, AZ 85053. The family suggests donations to the church in lieu of flowers.
