PHILIPS, Mary Catherine

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ April 16, 2006 Mary Catherine Philips, 92, died April 15, 2006, at her home in Camp Verde. Mary was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Indianapolis to the late Etta and Louis Seidensticker. In earlier years Mary was a long-time member of the Ladies' Guild at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Mary was also a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Camp Verde. Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dennis Philips of Camp Verde; her daughters Jackie Baker (Bill) of Camp Verde and Sunny Burger (Bill) of Ontario, Calif.; her sons Bill Brown of Camp Verde and Danny Brown of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Mary had three sisters and four brothers, all of whom preceded her in death. A Visitation will be Monday, April 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary celebrated at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 781 S. Cliffs Parkway in Camp Verde. A Mass of Christian Burial will for Mary is Tuesday, April 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Middle Verde Cemetery.
