John D. Mulhorn, 75, of Camp Verde, died April 18, 2006. John was born Nov. 17, 1930 in Vandergrift, Pa., to George and Jennie Hixon Mulhorn.
He served as commander at The American Legion David C. Johnson Post #93 in Camp Verde, was District 8 commander, member of Cottonwood American Legion Post #25, Area C vice-commander, and past director of ALLECA (American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy). He also served on various committees throughout the years at the Post, District and Department levels. He was a life member of The American Legion.
John is survived by his wife Eleanor Mulhorn of Camp Verde; sons David Mulhorn of Milwaukee, Wis., and Jeff Burton of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Patty Foken of San Rafael, Calif.; sisters Thelma Cross of Foley, Ala., and Nancy Kildow of California.
Memorial services will be April 28 at 3 p.m. at The American Legion Post #93 located at 276 S. Third Street, Camp Verde.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ALLECA, American Legion Dept. of Arizona 4701 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix AZ 85015 or to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX 75231-4596.
