Alexander Joseph Faerber, 87,founder and senior partner of the Bureau of Analysis in Davenport, Iowa, died Wednesday in Crestview onvalescent Lodge.
Mr. Faerber, 2101 E. Maryland moved to Phoenix in 1962. Born in Wood County, Ohio, he moved to Davenport in 1906. He operated the Iowa agency of the National Life Insurance Co. before forming the analysis
bureau.
His membership in organizations included 50 years with the Davenport Chamber of Commerce and charter member of the Iowa Chamber of Commerce;
national director and past vice president of the Isaac Walton League, and Masonic and Elks lodges.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams, by Dr. Fletcher H. Scharer.
daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hinchcliffe of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Child and Mrs. Harry Hoffman, both of Milwaukee,Wis.; a grandchild and a great-grandchild survive. The family suggest memorials be made to charity.
