The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 25, 2011 Michael Robert Brown a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Jan. 18, 2011, in Cherryvale, Kan. Mike was born on Jan. 24, 1956, in Tucson, Ariz. He served our country in Korea while in the U.S. Army in the 1970s. Mike was a wonderful singer and songwriter; he was passionate about music and loved his family, friends and dogs past and present. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Joan "Bugga" King. He is survived by his father Robert "Bob" Brown; stepmother Rebecca "Becky" Brown; his sister Lisa Murphree; nephew Travis Page; niece Lindsay Palmer; as well as many great-nieces and -nephews, cousins and many great friends. Memorial services for Mike will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Tim's Toyota Center, 3201 N. Main St., Prescott Valley, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
