SODERMAN, Stephen Matti

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, January 26, 2011 Stephen Matti Soderman passed away Jan. 18, 2011 in Tucson, Ariz. He was born Nov. 8, 1949 in Miami, Ariz. to John and Fay Soderman. Stephen was currently employed as a geology consultant to reopen the old Oracle Ridge Mine on Mount Lemon. He attended Miami, Ariz. schools and graduated from University of Arizona with a BS degree in geological sciences. He worked as a geologist most of his working career. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. He is survived by sister, Jan (John) Naccarati of Morenci; brother, John (Linda) Soderman of Miami; niece, Ann Naccarati of Tucson; nephews, Daniel (Kristin) Naccarati of Benson, Ian Soderman of Miami, and Andrew (Amanda) Soderman; great-niece, Aleah and great-nephew, Cael of Copiapo, Chile and lifelong friend, Dennis Smith. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Bring’s Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway.
