Renzo Angelo "Art" Fiorille, age 90, a 20-year resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz., died on Monday, January 17, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was born on February 8, 1920, in Comaboso, Italy, the 3rd child of a family of eight children, seven brothers and one sister. Their mother, Antoinueta di Danato and father, Carmen Angelo Fiorelle raised them in Cleveland, Ohio.
Art, who worked as a journeyman machinist, was a veteran who fought at the Battle of the Bulge and served in Germany - he received the Purple Heart.
He married Ida "Edith" Guida and they had two children.
Art lived by his motto "The 3 most important things in life to have are: a sense of humor, honesty and patience." He will be missed by many.
Art is survived by son, Raymond Fiorille (Willa) of Fort Mohave; daughter, Claudia "Cookie" Conces of Northern Idaho; three grandsons; two grandaughters; six great-grandsons; two great-grandaughters; his loving companion of 8 years, May Perna; and he was loved by many relatives and friends from the golf course along life's way.
A celebration of Art's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. CA time (2:30 p.m. AZ time), on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at the Needles Golf Course Club House.
