Died  -  On Lower Verde, April 1, 1900, Robert Clinton Smith, aged 8 days.  Deceased was the only child of James and Ada Smith and was named for Robert M. Roger and Clinton D. Wingfield - two men who will live in the memory of Verde valley people with the same kind remembrances that this sweet babe will be by its loving parents who were called on to give up their first born.
