Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on Friday, January 28, 2011 - Kiyoko Mita Ellison, 79, passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. She was born in Tokyo, Japan. Kiyoko was the 8th child of 11 children and attended school for the deaf. She moved to the United States in 1959 and became a US citizen in 1973. She married her beloved husband, Michael, on November 16, 1996 in Watsonville, CA. and together they moved to Lake Havasu City 11 years ago. Kiyoko was a very loving and kind woman who always had a smile on her face. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses she had a great love for the bible and it's teachings. She loved to talk about God, Jesus and the hope for a paradise on earth. Kiyoko will be deeply missed and always loved. Kiyoko is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Michael Ellison of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; a daughter in Japan; 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3200 S. Jamaica Blvd., LHC. AZ. 86406 at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 05, 2011. Services will be interpreted into ASL for the deaf.
