The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ June 14, 2006 Erika Blackstone Erika Fay Blackstone, 25, of Palm Springs, Calif., died June 4, 2006, in Palm Desert, Calif. She was born June 22, 1970, in William and Linda White Blackstone in Redlands, Calif. She was a phlebotomy technician for 17 years and served in the Navy for four years. She is survived by a brother, Lance Blackstone, of Palm Springs; two stepbrothers, Eric and Scott Bunker, of Rimrock; her father and stepmother, William and Paula Blackstone, of Rimrock; and her grandparents, Betty Blackstone, of Sacramento, Mona White, of Highland, Calif., and Al White of San Bernardino, Calif. Services will be private with arrangements under the direction of FitzHenry Funeral Home Palm Desert Chapel. The family suggests that donations be made to the Lupus Foundation in Washington, D.C., or a charity of choice.
