GRIFFITHS, Eleanor

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ July 26, 2006 Eleanor Griffiths, a long-time resident of Camp Verde, born in New York Aug. 14, 1915, died in Tucson June 22. Mrs. Griffiths spent earlier years traveling the West with her husband, Earle, before settling in Camp Verde, a town that they both loved. She was an accomplished artist and appreciated the beauties life had to offer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earle Griffiths, and by her son, Earle Griffiths, Jr., aka "Bucky." She is survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at the Senior Center in Camp Verde July 29, 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
