WINGFIELD, June Elizabeth

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ July 26, 2006 June Elizabeth Wingfield, 77, of Cottonwood, died July 23. Mrs. Wingfield was born on June 1, 1929, in California, and soon after, when just a toddler, she came to Arizona with her family and has resided within state ever since. June was an only child. June leaves behind her husband of four years, Roger C. Wingfield, a resident of Cottonwood and native to Arizona; as well as her brother-in-law, Louis Wingfield with his wife, Billie, who reside in Dewey and are also native to Arizona. A memorial service will be conducted at the Austin House - Activity Room, 195 S. Willard St., in Cottonwood, on Wednesday, July 26, 9 a.m. Following the service, for those able to attend, a visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., also in Cottonwood. Mrs. Wingfield will be laid to rest at Clear Creek Cemetery, in Camp Verde.
