Marie Crosthwait, a former longtime resident of Wickenburg, died Feb. 4, in her home in Dallas, Ore.
Mrs. Crosthwait, 74, was born in 1915 in Muleshoe, Texas. She had lived in Wickenburg for more than 25 years, moving to the community in the early 1960s with her husband, Richard.
Richard Crosthwait preceded her in death in 1973.
Mrs. Crosthwait was a member of the ladies bridge club in Wickenburg.
She moved to Oregon in November 1988.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Gullette of Dallas, Ore. and several cousins in Northern California.

Private committal services were in Texas for Marie Matney Crosthwait., 74, of Dallas, Ore., who died Feb 4.
Mrs. Crosthwait was born Nov.18, 1815 in Oklahoma. She had retired in Wickenburg in 1968 and lived in the community until moving to Oregon in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lamar Crosthwait in 1974.
She worked in Texas for both Sears and Wards catalog departments, and later lived in Saudi Arabia for 20 years, where her husband worked in the oil fields.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Gullette of Dallas, Ore.
