KEADY, Norris Wallace


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 12, 1990 Memorial services were April 10 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg for Norris Wallace Keady, 86, of Wickenburg who died March 31. Dr. Mark Koehler and members of Masonic Hassayampa Lodge, F& A.M. No 37 officiated. Kr. Keady was born Jan 17, 1904 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He had lived in Wickenburg since 1978, moving from Maryland. He was retired after 40 years of service with Western Union in Kansas City, Mo., Little Rock, Ark and Washington, D.C., and in 1974 with 14 years of service with the Washington Bureau of The New York Times. Mr. Keady was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg; The International Order of DeMolay, having joined the mother chapter in Kansas City, Mo. In 1921 and receiving his 50 year pin several years ago; Mt Hermon Lodge No. 179, A.F.& A.M., Huntsville, Md.; Hassayampa Lodge No. 37 F& A.M., Wickenburg; Oasis Chapter No. 15 R.A.M. of Wickenburg; Phoenix Council No 4 C.M., Phoenix Commandery No. 3 K.T.; El Zaribah Temple of Phoenix; Wickenburg Shrine Club and the Retired Western Union Employees Assn. He is survived by his wife, Elinor, of Wickenburg; a daughter, Shirley Poore of Downers Grove, Ill.; a son, George Keady of Columbia, Md.; two sisters, Margaret Cavanaugh and Mardelle Waldron, of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Jack Keady, of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
