LANG, Martha (Mike)

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 26, 1990 Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church for Martha ‘Mike’ Lang, 86, of Wickenburg who died Tuesday, April 24. Fr. James O’Donnell will officiate, with private interment to follow. Mrs. Lang was born Dec. 17, 1903 in Pennsylvania. She had lived in Arizona for the past 40 years. She was a winter visitor for many years at the Remuda Ranch, and in 1952 began a catering business in Wickenburg which she operated until retiring in 1980. Mr. Lang was a charter member of Las Damas; a volunteer at Wickenburg Community Hospital and at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum; and was an active member of St. Anthony’s Church. Survivors include two sons, Tom Lange of Illinois and John Lang of Georgia; a daughter, Patricia Burd of Tempe; a sister, Josephine Hoecker of Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
