ALDRED, Russell (Russ)


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 3, 1990 Services were Saturday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Russell ‘Russ’ Aldred, 65, of Wickenburg who died April 19 at his home. Fr. David Sharp officiated, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Aldred was born Nov. 7, 1924 in Pueblo, Colo. He had lived in Arizona for the past 25 years. Mr. Aldred worked in the cattle business all his life, coming to Wickenburg 25 years ago and continuing to contribute to the cattle industry in this area. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific with the K-9 Division. He was also a member of the Wickenburg Roping Club, and a wrangler with the Desert Caballeros. Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of Wickenburg; three daughters, Jan LaMont of Webster, Texas, Susan Camacho of Tucson and Jenny Lutch of Wickenburg; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Wickenburg Community Hospital.
