Services were Friday at the Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church for Robert A. Duncan, 71, of Yarnell who died April 23 at his home.
The Rev. San Weinschenk officiated, with burial following cremation in Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley.
Mr. Duncan was born June 32, 1918 in Hancock, Minn. He had lived in Arizona for the past 21 years, moving to Yarnell in 1980 from Tempe.
He was a retired machinist.
Mr. Duncan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Machinist’s Mate First Class aboard the USS Oglala, USS Lark, USS Maryland and the USS Dahlgren.
He was member of the Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Arlene, of Yarnell; three sons, Arthur of Clemmons, N.C., Roger of Philomath, Ore. And Michael of Mesa; four daughters, Nan Janis of Corvallis, Ore., Karen Cutler of San Antonio, Texas, Susan Yale of Las Vegas, Nev. and Carol Fitch of Phoenix; two brothers, Frank of Fairbault, Minn. and Herbert of Cottonwood and 13 grandchildren.
