PRATER, William (Billy) Knight

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 1, 2011 William "Billy" Knight Prater, 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at his home in Overgaard with his family at his side. He was born Oct. 14, 1947, in Sacramento, Calif. He grew up in the Phoenix area where he met and married Judith Ann Moenter, his wife of 21 years, moved to Overgaard seven years ago. Billy was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed reading, astrology, and was a sports enthusiast. He also loved animals and his dog Bo. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Moenter; son William Billy Knight Prater Jr. (Vickie) Prater, and their daughters Alicia and Brittany Prater, all of Overgaard. Private family services were held. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
