Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, February 02, 2011 Richard B. Bolding Jr., 52, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, in Valle. Mr. Bolding was born Nov. 6, 1958. He was a true southern gentleman at all times. He was generous, kind and thoughtful, always addressing the ladies with "yes, ma'am," always ready to help a lady in distress with flat tires or whatever needed getting done. He was active with Valle-Wood Volunteer Fire Department as board member and assisted over the years in many fundraising activities. For many years, he assisted Angel's Corner food bank with food box distribution to rural families in the greater Valle area. He was a good man. He struggled with health issues that won out in the end. He will be missed greatly by his friends and family. Mr. Bolding is survived by his mother, Sandra Orr; sister Brenda Parker of Georgia; and a number of extended family members. A memorial dinner service will be Friday at 4 p.m. at Valle Airport conference room. Bishop Troy Mortenson will be officiating. "Amazing Grace" will be sung by Charlean Davidson.
