The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, February 01, 2011 Violet Ryan, 84, formally of Wickenburg, died of natural causes Dec. 30, in Phoenix. She was born on the banks of the Yellowstone River in North Dakota to John and Henrietta Walker on Oct. 8, 1926. She lived in many parts of the country but settled in Wickenburg in 1970. She was retired from many careers including mining, and after raising her children, she moved to Phoenix. She is survived by her sister Lucille, daughters JoAnn, Gail, Patricia and Joyce, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 6300 W. Camelback Road in Glendale, Ariz. RSVP with Heather Fields 623-204-6259. Festive attire requested, no black.
