MEDLOCK, Sidney C.

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, February 02, 2011 Sidney C. Medlock, 74, was called home to heaven on Jan. 31, 2011. Sidney was born in Ramah, N.M. to Jewel and Nellie Medlock on May 9, 1936. Sidney was a very special person and anyone who knew him will never forget his selfless, caring and kind ways. “You will be greatly missed, Dad!” Sidney is survived by his wife, Lavon of 47 years; son, Timothy (Penny) of Chandler; daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Sacra of Phoenix; two grandchildren, Nathen and Shelby Medlock; one sister, Janell (Guy) Albert; and many nieces and nephews. Sidney was preceded in death by his brothers Ira, Ray and Steve Medlock. A memorial gathering is planned for Feb. 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 921 Belmont Ave. in Superior Ariz. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation in his name be made to the Superior First Baptist Church or the Diabetes Foundation. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
