LONGENBAUGH, Richard Dillon

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 4, 2011 Richard Dillon Longenbaugh, 80, died Jan. 29, 3011, in Oro Valley of cancer. He was born May 20, 1920. Richard was a resident of Oro Valley for 16 years. He went to grammar school in Omak, Wash. and Browning, Mont. He attended high school in McNary and received his BA and MA in education from U of A in Tucson. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol, and their four children: Laura, Ron/Keith (Judy), Margaret (Richard) Rowland; daughters: April and Christine of pre-deceased brother Andrew (Cheryl); grandchildren: William and JoAnn Devine and Jordyn, Forrest and Paisley Longenbaugh; beloved nieces and nephews Kevin, Keri and Keith Rowland, Kathy and Lily Landikusic and Brian Longenbaugh. He was preceded in death by nephew Darrin Longenbaugh. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7. Evergreen Mortuary handled arrangements.
