MYERS, Freddie Bernard

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 4, 2011 Freddie Bernard Myers, 60, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, in Tucson. Fred was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Morton, Miss. to SA and Katie M. (Davis) Myers. At one time Freddie played basketball with the Harlem Travelers. He had a generous heart for others; he gave his life to the Lord. Freddie is loved and will be missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Joann Myers; his children: Frank, Tinika, Sharriffa, Olajuwon, Fredrica, Laswavian, Destiny and Reggie; his mother Katie (Melvin) Hargrow; brothers and sisters: Dorothy Jackson Smith, Lester Myers, Quincy Woods, and Debra Holt; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
