Ila Mae Dunham, age 69, a 32-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed peacefully in Boulder City, Nev., on Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was born on January 2, 1942 in Austin, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Mose L. Dunham. They moved to Fort Mohave in 1979, where they owned and operated A to Z Mart for several years, after which they enjoyed the retirement life of traveling.
Ila is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Douglas) Echler of Boulder City, Nev., Amy Dunham of Fort Mohave, Ariz., and Pamela (William) Flannery of Henderson, Nev.; brother, Milo (Joan) Prindle of Donnelly, Minn.; sister, Darlene Stoltz of Austin, Minn.; nine grandchildren, Nicholas (Nicole) Echler, Tiffanie (Robert) Buehler, Austin Echler, Tad Sioata, Cody Echler, Melissa Flannery, Cheyanne Echler, Tia Sioata, and Amanda Flannery; great-grandchild, Charlotte Echler; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time) on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Pebble Lake Club House.
