Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, Arizona - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from February 6 to February 13, 2011 - Dorothy Evelyn Hickson Wahlquist, age 79, died on Friday, December 24, 2010, in Bullhead City, Ariz. Dorothy worked as an inmate transporter in Yuma, Ariz., and was a 13-year member of AA. Dorothy loved being with family. She had a great sense of humor, loved all children and liked to be outdoors. Dorothy was preceded in death by two husbands, Ruben O. Hickson and Edward Wahlquist. She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Kay of La., Sharon Linet of Ariz., Debra Elain of Fla, and Teri Lorrine of Ariz.; two sons, Lonnie Doyle of Texas and Gary Edward of Calif.; three brothers, Kenny, Bill and Leo; sister, JoAnn; two grandchildren, Sean (Nicole) and Amber, and 12 other grandchildren; and great-granddaughter, Julianna Nevaeh-Dorothy of Ariz. and great-grandson, Walter, and four other great-grandchildren.
