LEWIS, Perry T.

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 29, 2008 Perry T. Lewis Jr., age 84, of Prescott Valley, Ariz. went to be with the Lord Oct. 27, 2008. He was born May 31, 1924 in Geneseo, Ill. to Perry and Jennie Lewis. He married Lillian (Sue) Swanson Nov. 21, 1942. Perry served in the Army during WWII. He was in the Battle of the Bulge. Perry is a retired Sheet Metal Worker from Local #359 in Phoenix, Ariz. After retirement he worked for Prescott True Value for 15 years. He was a member of the Mingus View Presbyterian Church and American Legion #208. Perry was preceded in death by his daughter Susanne Scott. He is survived by his wife Sue of 65 years; son Thomas (Linda); son-in-law Barney Scott; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Memorial services in honor of Perry will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 at the Mingus View Presbyterian Church, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
