HUNTINGTON, Rosalie Rabida (Roz)

Rosalie Rabida Huntington Born March 6, 1920, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rosalie (Roz) Rabida Huntington died at home in her sleep January 29, 2011, in Tucson, Arizona. Roz will be greatly missed by her children, Susan (Ramon) Guerrero, Julie Huntington (Wayne Ledwell), William Huntington; sister-in-law, Ruth Rigenhagen; grandchildren, Noah, Sebastian and Abigail Ledwell, Jennifer Ivie and Dana Huntington; one great- grandchild and many nieces and nephews including: Barb and John Wenig and Ellen and Paul Benson. Predeceased by parents, Harriet and Louis Rabida, husband, Howard A. Huntington; brother, James (Bev) Rabida; sister, Dorothy (Neal) Buckmaster; sister-in-law, Meta (Robert) Peek; brothers-in-law, Sol P. Huntington and Richard Rigenhagen and nephew, Eric Rigenhagen. Roz's welcoming smile warmed hearts and her energetic spirit and positive attitude celebrated life. She raised her children and became an avid walker and swimmer in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Roz traveled yearly from her Tucson home to be with family in Newfoundland, Canada, stopping to visit friends and family in Wisconsin. She traveled extensively in Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to caregivers, Carmen, Sonia and Undine in Tucson and Carol and Thelma in Newfoundland.
