NIXON, Lois

Lois Nixon 89, passed away at home February 2, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George; a son, Billy Joe; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Luke; daughter-in-law, Ferralyn and six brothers and two sisters. 

Lois is survived by her five children, Judy (Rodger), Ken (Dawn), Paul, Donna (Roy), Brian (Gayle); 13 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild is on the way. 

Lois was a resident of Tucson for 53 years and retired from Hughes Aircraft. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She made the best fried chicken. We will Love you and miss you always. 

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011 with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. both at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY and CEMETERY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ.
