WALDEMAR, Helen B.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, February 09, 2011 Helen B. Waldemar, 99, a longtime Wickenburg resident, passed away Feb. 1 in Sun City West, Ariz. Helen was born June 23, 1911 on the family ranch in Plains, Mont. She and her husband John moved to Idaho in 1942, and after his retirement in 1971 they began spending winters in Wickenburg. When her husband of 60 years passed away in 1990, Helen sold their Idaho home and moved permanently to Wickenburg. She is survived by her son Al Waldemar (Inge) and her daughter Adele Schmidt of Spokane, Wash., also five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
