Rosemary Krapfl, of Cottonwood, died peacefully in her home on July 26, 2006, of congestive heart failure. She was born May 12, 1935, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Ambrose and Rose Krapfl.
She attended grade school at St. Boniface and high school at Heelan. She moved to Chicago, where she was an operating room technician at St. Anne's Hospital. She then worked at the Xerox Corporation until her retirement in 1986.
She then moved to Sedona, where she and her friend owned and operated an Indian arts store called Eagle Dancer until 1992, when she finally retired for good.
She is survived by her brothers John Krapf (Marlana) and Tim Krapfl (Margee), of Sioux City, and her longtime companion Susan Marsh.
