Christine Ann Jordan of Cottonwood died on Monday, Aug. 29, after a short illness. She was born in Kenosha, Wis., on June 26, 1945.
Christine received her registered nursing degree in Kenosha and began her nursing career in Wisconsin before traveling to Oregon to work at the hospital in Klamath Falls. Christine continued her nursing career in Arizona where she worked for the Navajo Nation in Chinle and Tuba City, Home Health Care, Choices Integrated Health Care of Sedona, Northern Arizona Hospice and Yavapai Correctional Facilities.
Christine was blessed with many wonderful friends and spiritual companions and her love and compassion for all things inspired her to become a Healing Touch Practitioner, K.T.C. Practitioner, Che-lel Quigong Instructor and lifelong volunteer and contributor to numerous charitable organizations. Her healing practices also led her to many parts of the world, including South America and several trips to China.
Christine leaves behind her daughter, Michelle Gallagher of Kenosha, Wis.; her grandson, Evan Anderson of Kenosha; her mother, June Kley of Cottonwood; her brother, Bill Jordan of Kenosha; her sister, Kathy Jordan of Wuanakee, Wis.; and three nieces, Maya Jordan of Kenosha, and Jessica and Allie Palmer of Waunakee.
Also left behind are Christine's special canine kids, Kya and Lily, and ancient feline, Eddie.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Bldg. 10, Cottonwood, AZ 86326, or the Humane Society, 1502 W. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, AZ 86326. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
