MAUK, Irvin (Lee)


The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ September 20, 2006 Irvin "Lee" Mauk, 68, Cottonwood, died Sept. 16. He was born July 30, 1938, in Bellflower, Calif., the son of James Irvin Mauk and Charlotte Schoellermon Mauk. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. Mr. Mauk worked as a pipefitter, a welder and a truck driver. His hobbies included collecting eagle statues and ties. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Margaret Mauk; a son, Thomas Mauk of Olympia, Wash.; three daughters, Antoinette Stavee and husband Gerald of Olympia, Wash., Deanell Gregory of China and Mala Vancil of Cottonwood; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
