RYBERG, Eric Gustav

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ October 03, 2006 Eric Gustav Ryberg, 84, of Camp Verde died Sept. 26, 2006. Eric was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Sweden to the late Oscar and Elvira Ryberg. Eric served in the Army during World War II. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent much time hunting and fishing. Among his favorite pastimes were gardening, carpentry and cutting firewood. Eric is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Henry; and his sister, Celia. Eric is survived by his sons, Eric Martin Ryberg and John Edwin Ryberg; his daughters, Sharron Cogan, Victoria Ann Delany, and Donna Gayle Milton; his brothers, Emil, John, and William; his sisters, Anna Margaret, Mary, and Shirley; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held noon Saturday, Sept. 30, at Eric's home. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
