STARNER, Virginia Mae

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ October 14, 2006 Virginia Mae Starner Cottonwood resident Virginia Mae Starner died Oct. 10 in Tucson. She was 80 years old. She lived in the Verde Valley for 37 years. Mrs. Starner was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac "Sandy" Starner, in 1985. She is survived by her children, Darlene Fouts, Phyllis Straub and Jeannine Stiewig; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
