Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 3, 1990 Memorial services were April 20 at West Glen Church of Christ for Dan Russell, 69, of Surprise, who died at his home April 17. Private interment was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Russell was born Oct.13, 1921 in Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 35 years, moving to Wickenburg in 1945. He also lived in Bagdad and Glendale before moving to Surprise. He was a victim of ALS (Lou Gehrig disease) and was a wheel chair patient for the past two years. He was a retired sheet metal worker and also worked in construction for the past 26 years. Survivors include his wife, Beth George Russell; three sons, Roy of Peoria, Stanley of White Mountain and Robert of Tempe; and his mother-in-law Cassie George of Wickenburg.
