Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alban Episcopal Church for Wallace Edwin Neal, 93, of Wickenburg who died July 1 in the Wickenburg Nursing Home.
Interment will be at St. Barnabus Episcopal Church in Scottsdale.
Mr. Neal was born May 12, 1897 in Boise, Idaho. He had lived in Arizona for the past 25 years.
He was a resident of Minneapolis and Annandale, Minn., until moving to Scottsdale in 1965.
Mr. Neal was a graduate of the University of Washington. He founded the W.E. Neal Slate Co. in Minneapolis in 1923. He retired and moved to Scottsdale with his wife, Ruth, who preceded him in death, in 1965.
He was a member of the St. Alban Episcopal Church; was Provence President of Lambda Phi Delta Theta; was a member of the Dial Club in Minneapolis; the Minneapolis Athletics Club; The University Club; and a director of the offices of the Minneapolis builders Exchange.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Neil Sorensen of Wickenburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Wallace and Marcea Neal; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Nursing Home.
