BRAMAN, Harold Pier (Hal)

Harold Pier Braman, a longtime resident of Country Club Park in Wickenburg, died Aug 20 in the Del Webb Extended Care Center in Sun City.  He was 89.

“Hal” Braman had been a member and official of the Desert Caballeros since 1956.  After a career as a foreign correspondent, U.S. Navy reserve office and diplomat, he and his wife, Helen, retired in Wickenburg in the 1960s. 

Mr. Braman is survived by his wife, who is ill in the Sun West Rehabilitation Center in Sun City; a daughter, Suzanne McClenaham of St. Albans Herts, England; three grandsons and seven grandchildren.
Cremation will be conducted privately.  A memorial service is planned in mid-October in Wickenburg.
