YATES, Mabel B.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 26, 1990 Mabel B. Yates, 79, of Yarnell died Wednesday, Sept. 19 in the Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Yates was born may 30, 1911 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc. She moved to Yarnell in 1948 from Edwards, Wisc. and had been in the Arizona Pioneer Home in Prescott since March 1988. She was the owner and operator of the Double K Hotel in Yarnell, and over the years had worked in all of the restaurants in the community. She was a member of American Legion Post No.79 in Yarnell. Mrs. Yates was a member of Mary Mediatrix of Yarnell, and attended Sacred Heart Church and the Catholic Chapel Service at the Pioneers Home in Prescott. Survivors include a son, Roger Paterick of Pleasanton, Calif.; daughter, Donna Roland of Albuquerque, N.M.; three brothers, George and Roy Passineau of Wisconsin Rapids and Clarence Passineau of Chippewa Falls, Wisc.; four sisters, Dorothy Passineau of Prairie du Chien, Wisc., Kathryn Dashner of Steven Point, Wisc., Bernice Buchhold of Mountain View, Calif., Loretta Trikle of Rudolph, Wisc., and Mae Supple of Boyd, Wisc.; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral Mass was Saturday, Sept. 22 at Sacred Heart Church in Prescott, with concluding services at the Arizona Pioneer Home Cemetery.
