JONES, JR., Plato T.

Plato T. Jones, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, passed away February 5, 2011. 

Plato was an outstanding percussionist for many years. Plato did six European tours and gained six platinum albums during his career. Plato played with many well known artists and bands overseas as well as in the U.S. Plato's last gig was with Neon Prophet, a well known reggae band in Tucson. 

Plato is survived by his brother, Carlo T. Jones; sister, Deryl J. Tate and nephew, Arthur H. Tate III. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N. Alvernon Way. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE CREMATION AND BURIAL.
