Ruth Conover Barber, 87, of Tempe, AZ passed away February 28, 2004 in Tempe. Mrs. Barber was born August 15, 1916 in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. She was a teacher and librarian in the Balsz School District. She received her degrees from New Jersey State Teachers College and Arizona State. Also she was a member of University Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Barber. She is survived by her 2 daughters Beverly Wolf of Arlington, VA and Evelyn Barber of Tempe, AZ and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Contributions can be made to Westchester Care Center Chapel Fund 6100 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ 85283 or Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
