GIBBONS, Vernon Leslie

Vernon Leslie Gibbons, 83, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on February 27, 2004. Born September 27, 1920 in Thorsby, Alabama. 

Retired from the Air Force with 35 years of service. 

Vernon is survived by his wife Patricia, two sons Leslie & Scott, two step children Kay & Mike, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Vernon has been a lifetime member of the DAV Chapter 20 & American Legion he is also a member of the North Phoenix Baptist Church. 

A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. Inurnment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona.
