Robert D. Jackson, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend was born March 17, 1934 in Lansing, Michigan, and passed away February 27, 2004.
In 1944, his family settled in Phoenix. Bob worked for the Maricopa County Community College District for over 15 years. In recent years, Bob and his wife of over 50 years, LuDene, split their time living in both Show Low and Phoenix. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family - especially his grandchildren, planning projects and remodeling, and taking fishing trips. He especially enjoyed trips with his family to the Black River, which will be his final resting place.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim, Joe and Melvin and two sons, Larry and Gregory. He is survived by his wife, LuDene, his children, Carol, Michael, Rodney and Audra, and nine grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family that loved him and all others who knew him.
A visitation was held with a funeral service on Wednesday, March 3rd at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix.
