Lopez, 61, will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday, February 11, 2011 with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Father Frank Chacon, celebrant. Interment to follow in Desert View Cemetery. Gilbert passed away at home in Winslow on February 08, 2011. He was born on May 02, 1949 in Winslow, AZ. He graduated from Winslow High School in 1967. He was employed for 10 years by Babbit's Supermarket and also owned & operated Phillips 66 Gas Station on Route 66. Gilbert enjoyed buying, selling and restoring vintage vehicles. He was an avid fisherman, boater and enjoyed being at the creek. Gilbert is survived by his 2 sons, Michael Webster and Paul Lopez; four grandchildren; 1 brother, Guadalupe Lopez, Jr.; 2 sisters, Irene (Boney) Candelaria and Sandra Reyes; also aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe & Virginia Lopez.
