Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, Arizona - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from February 13 to February 20, 2011 - Opal Inez Roberts, age 101, a 7-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. and formerly of Sunland, Calif., died Friday, January 28, 2011, just 20 days shy of her 102 birthday! Opal was born February 17, 1909, in Jasper County, Missouri, the youngest of nine children, to James and Harriett Arnold. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Covington; son, Mike Roberts; six grandchildren, Melanie (Chris) Glynn, Glynn (Sharon) Covington, Scott (Jay) Roberts, Becky (Bob) Powell, Kasey (Anena) Roberts, and Keely (Erick) Heniger. Services were held on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, Calif.
