Edmund Oscar Kahle, 97, a former resident of Wickenburg, died Friday, Nov. 2 at Las Fuentes Care Center in Prescott.
Mr. Kahle was born May 6, 1893 in Coudersport, Penn. He had lived in Arizona for 79 years, moving to Scottsdale from Pennsylvania in 1911. He moved to Prescott in 1985.
Mr. Kahle operated a nursery for many years and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War I.
Survivors include two daughter, Helen Lucille Young and Jewel Bundsal, both of Glendale; a granddaughter, Diane Elaine Frye of Prescott, and seven additional grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren.
Graveside services were Tuesday at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley, Members of American Legion Post no. 79 of Yarnell provided military service.
