Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 5, 1990 Up Yarnell Way This past week our community was saddened by the death of resident Yvonne Welch Rue. Mrs. Rue died Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City where she had been for a week undergoing tests and treatment for bone marrow cancer. Rue had given her time and service to our community for many years in the medical practice of Dr. George Rue, who died a year ago. After Dr. Rue’s death, Rue had worked hard to provide medical service for the community and for the past nine months continued the Yarnell Medical Clinic with the services of Lea Way, FNP/PA, and tried to continue publication of the “Lay Worker,” a paper published four times yearly by Dr. Rue about policies and doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Started nearly 30 years ago, in recent years the publication had reached 35,000 readers. Mrs. Rue is survived by a brother, Austin Welch, of Peeples Valley and grandson Rick, of Yarnell. Other survivors include two sons, two daughter and grandchildren.
